Librarians think I'm a computer geek.
Techies think I'm a bookworm.
And my last roommate called me a librarian with a tattoo, and I wasn't even a librarian then.

I'm an ex-dot-commer who decided to return to her roots and become a librarian. I have always been a bookworm, and ended up in the dot-com world accidentally (I originally moved to NYC to get into publishing). Not that I don't like the internet - what librarian wouldn't like such an incredible source of information?

So now I work for the New York Public Library, and live outside NYC, with my husband (and two cats). It sounds pretty boring, but makes me pretty happy most of the time.
